Ariana is a third-year Psychology student at York University. Ariana has gone through the ESL process not only in her own home as the daughter of first-generation immigrant parents but also with the York University ESL program. She has been able to showcase different skills by enhancing self-confidence, building a stronger community within its members, and pushing for a continuing passion for learning. Ariana has shown her leadership development skills by helping at-risk youth in her home country with not only their ESL journey but also in their personal journey by connecting with them on a deeper level and leading her group to a successful culmination of the program.
Maleeha is an enthusiast and engaging person. Currently, she is in her fourth year of BSc Psychology at York University. Having previous experience in teaching she plans to utilize her learned skills in Lingua Franca and offer engaging and informative content to others and help them build their confidence to succeed in their respective goals. As a student she has volunteered in schools engaging in one on one activities with students, she has also worked as a mentor in Peace by Peace and as a part time teacher. In her free time, Maleeha loves to draw, catch up with friends and explore the nature.
Ayesha Bushra Khalid
Ayesha is a fourth-year undergraduate biomedical student, who has also worked as a course representative. She is very passionate about working with students to help them grow and train in a resourceful environment.

Ye Young is a third-year Psychology student at York. With experience as a tutor, a YU START leader, and in the academic advising team at the Faculty of Health, she is eager to further get involved in the YorkU community with Lingua Franca!
Yonis is a fourth-year student at York University specializing in Kinesiology & Health Science. Yonis is passionate about helping others and hopes to use his skills to actively support students.
Rojina is a Kinesiology and Health Science student. Her goals are to create a safe and engaging community for ESL and international students, giving them an opportunity to enhance their communication skills.
