Helen is a third-year undergraduate student in the BSc Honours Kinesiology and Health Science. She hopes Lingua Franca can build a powerful community of ESL students that can help them overcome their insecurities by breaking all barriers regarding the English language.
Gelena Stepanova
Social Media Lead
Gelena is a 3rd year international student from Vladivostok, Russia who came to Canada 3 years ago to receive an undergraduate degree in Nursing at YorkU. She will be working with the marketing team at Lingua Franca as a social media assistant this upcoming Winter semester. In her free time she enjoys going on walks, watching foreign movies and reading papers about global health, nutrition and medicine.
Anshika Khanna

Anshika is a transfer student, currently in her third year of B.A. Hons. Psychology at York University. Apart from Lingua Franca, she is also a Marketing Ambassador at UPSA. When she’s not studying, she likes to spend her time reading books and immersing herself in movies and shows.
